"Brother, get your head out of those herbs and HELP me for once!"

Nightshade has a rather unpopular view of life. She feels that all intelligent life deserves respect and land; that includes beastclans. Whilst her birth clan is not at outright war with them, there is a common view that they are lesser beings to dragonkind. Nightshade does not think so. Having grown up alongside her father's harpy companion, she has experienced first-hand how wise other intelligent life can be. Her harpy mentor helped her along, teaching her how to speak their tongue; something she was naturally inclined to; and the troubles that their kind had gone through since the return of the dragons. Beset with righteous fury and ashamed at her own kind, Nightshade vowed to help the harpies.

Whilst she could not simply fly away, Nightshade found that her father was willing to help. With his worldly experience as a courier, he explained the warning signs of a harpy colony, how to approach them peacefully, and what would constitute as a good welcoming gift. He also warned her of the dangers- she would be seen as a traitor to her kind, becoming a rogue to a so called lesser species. Nightshade was unperturbed. She would travel and learn their ways, and perhaps that would help her bridge the gap between their species; one day she dreamed to see harpies and dragons working together. Until then, she trains and learns with unrivalled passion.
