Imelda is probably the most gorgeous dragon you’ve ever seen – her scales reflect the light of the sun, and their colors always, without fail, catch someone’s eye. It’s not much of a surprise that she is considered one of the most beautiful dragons in the clan, regardless of her stature.
The thing is, though, she frequently covers up her scales with armor, and most of the dragons in her clan just can’t understand why.
To her, it’s perfectly understandable. She’d rather someone took notice of her other traits.
To Imelda, beauty is overrated. It doesn’t matter whether you’re beautiful or not to her, all that does matter is intelligence, or strength, or honor.
She knows, though, that if it ever got out to the other dragons, they would all ask her why. She also knows that if she refuses to say anything, they will all speculate about it behind her back, regardless of whether she is present or not.
