I was in the darkness, so darkness I became.

Rose is the clan's leader, she has been ever since she formed the Clan of Thorns. She's known as the Thorn-Mother for more then one reason, she has a tendency to mother those around her and since she's the clan founder and leader it's her job to make sure those around her her are safe and happy. While some of her clan tease her about her mothering habit, most don't mind and even welcome the little bits of attention she sends to those around her.

While she does act quite kind and loving to those around her, she can turn violent in a split second if she feels her clan is threatened. She fights like hell incarnate and will destroy any who are in the way of protecting her clan. She tends to try and help everyone, and she's a little too kind for her own good. She feels a need to protect everyone, even those who are shade-infected and tries to help them as best as she can....even if help means putting them out of their misery.

She is especially protective of her oldest two children, Igniscor and Cinderpelt. And for good reason too. As hatchlings, Rose left their nest unattended for only a minute, and a loner who has been kicked from the clan attacked the young Tundra's, leaving Igniscor horrifically scarred and Cinderpelt's left foreleg almost completely torn off. Rose killed the loner, although he scarred her left arm and shoulder extremely bad.

Despite this, she tries to see the good in everyone, and this lead her to meeting her mate, Vendetta. Vendetta is quite quiet, and they are incredibly good at reading each other's body language, which is useful when deciding whether a loner will be allowed to stay with the clan or not. She rules her clan with a firm, but kind fist, and many of the clan members come and go as they please.

Since her clan is more of a rag-tag bunch of dragons, she isn't too particular about who she lets in. While is she a little wary of newcomers for a while, her gut is usually very good at picking out those who are dangerous, or might become dangerous. while is does prefer talking to fighting, she will not hesitate to attack if her, or her clan is endangered. And while she is small and a little chubby, even for a mirror, she can attack with great speed and power at any moment. As well as this, she has a great mastery of shadow magic, and practises her magic as often as possible.

Despite her position of power, her great magic and her fighting ability, Rose has severe anxiety and social anxiety, so she tends to not hold a lot of social events. She tries her best to work through her panic attacks, and her mate helps her a great deal by acting as a crutch for her during events and getting her to a quiet room for half and hour if the panic attack becomes too bad.

She has the ability to transform into a more humanoid shape, as does some of the most powerful members of the clan. This form is still very similar to her dragon shape, although she doesn't like to use it too much. She feels a little bit too strange when she isn't in her normal shape, and so it's usually reserved for important situations, or if she feels it's needed for an attack.
