Sapere Aude is not a very nature-focused clan. If anything, nature usually gets in the way of the clan’s hunt for mysteries and artifacts. In order to appropriately ‘deal with’ the onslaught of natural elements, Riotus enlisted Sequoia. With his peculiar affinity for rerouting roots and trees, his ability to find poisonous plants (by accident) in every environment, and his pragmatic outlook, this naturalist has become an integral part of every dig.

He isn’t born of nature, and sometimes he needs that extra touch- which makes the fact that he’s mated to Clan Cairn Bato’s Nature ambassador very useful. What he can’t handle, Avani can fix. He’s deeply proud of his younger mate, with a habit of strutting and looking smug every time she’s mentioned. He is the calm, more experienced head while she helps to keep him grounded through his never-ending plethora of conspiracy theories.
