Pumpkin was found after I bought my brother an ob/ob/fire crackle dragon. I loved the color scheme, and so searched for a female ob/ob/ and then a shade of orange crackle. I found Pumpkin as an Unnamed gal for 40,000 Treasure. Immediately I was in love with her color scheme, and not to mention her beautiful crackle.
She reminded me of one of my favorite seasons: fall, and fall for me means pleasant temperatures, trees turning beautiful colors, Halloween, Thanksgiving, festivals, harvests- All the good things that happen during fall. I couldn't resist buying her, even though when I bought her I had been saving up for the 2015 Starfall Celebration, and had reached around 220,000, but most of that was drained from buying my brother's dragon and then her. I love her dearly, and along with Frozen Pillar, she is one of my most favorite female dragons in my entire lair. She was worth every bit of treasure I bought her for.
She is from this hatchery I found out after I bought her, and she has this banner in her bio. Please check it out, it's full of beautiful dragons like Pumpkin who are ob/ob/ and then tertiary colors of the rainbow. c:

Born in the desolate Dragonhome to an extensive clan that built it's lair by The Pillar of the World, Pumpkin first never saw trees really, mainly rocks. Rocks were slightly boring to her, but still, it was home. Her parents were named after Earth type things and so was most of her clan, Pumpkin has seen her fair share of gemstones, probably more than anyone else in the entire Whispering Symphony Clan. Though she isn't really interested in gems and geodes, she still got excited about it when she searched for them, and many say she's a spiral trapped in an Imperials body by the way she acts, only she doesn't get bored easily and takes time with things and loves to pause to take everything in before starting whatever she's doing again in her hyper excitable fashion. She's peaceful and not a fighter and always ready to make a friend, probably because she wants someone to talk to, since she talks a lot when she is passionate about something. πππ |

Alright, back to history. One day, when Frozen Pillar (with Dew) was searching for new clan mates to join the clan, she stumbled upon Pumpkin, who was asking different dragons to take her around the land so that she could see nature. It was around the beginning of fall when Frozen Pillar decided to take the young dragon in and show her around. She told her all about Whispering Symphony Clan and how they had recently moved from Wispwillow Grove in The Tangled Wood all the way to the Reedcleft Ascent in The Windswept Plateau. Pumpkin loved the sound of all that traveling- and all the trees. Frozen Pillar and Dew took her to the clan, but not before flying the long way around- that is, through the Viridian Labyrinth, down through Tangled Wood, over the Sunbeam Ruins, around the Shifting Expanse, into the Ashfall Waste, over the Sea of a Thousand Currents, and finally landing in the Windswept Plateau. Pumpkin was amazed by all the sites and views she saw. She became a member of the clan, and became good friends with Marc and his mate Hazel, and traveled with them to see the Scarred Wasteland, the Starfall Isles, and finally the Southern Icefield. Pumpkin has settled down in the Wind territory after traveling all over Sonerith, and she felt quite accomplished, having seen every terrain known to dragon-kind. She felt like, as she had searched, that something was still missing though.....
One fine day late in August, about a year after Pumpkin joined the Whispering Symphony Clan, Hazel and Marc were going to travel to the Ashfall Waste to gather some embers for the upcoming festival. Pumpkin decided to go ahead and go with them, even though she felt like she would never discover anything new again, and was rather bored with everything, and she had already seen all the flight's territories....
"Dear, it would be good for you! Get you back into the kick of things!" Hazel urged her.
"Traveling always refreshes my spirit and soul, you never know what you might experience! Who you might meet, what stories they'll tell!" Marc encouraged her.
"Well.... I suppose... I certainly can't get any more bored..." Pumpkin said, without her usual zeal.

So they took her, showed her around, and it lifted her spirits up, she felt better, but not amazed as she had been her first time traveling all around. Then, she saw him. A tall, strong, gorgeous male Imperial. Dressed quite finely. Marc's job was to find new members for the clan when needed, and they needed a metal worker. As Pumpkin watched him from a distance, infatuated and back to her excitable self, Hazel noticed and pointed the male Imp out to Marc.
"He isn't even Fire though! We specifically went out to look for embers and a good metal worker from the Fire flight, and while yes, he does do metal working, he's a Lightning! We need the best of the best!" Marc said.
"I know that! But please dear, please! Give the poor guy a chance! Our leader herself is Shadow, yet leads a Wind clan, and wears Ice flight things with pride, why should we turn him down? He could be an excellent clan member!" Hazel replied.
"He's Lightning!" Marc said simply.
"So? I'm Lighting, aren't I?" Hazel asked him with a raised brow.
"Uh, Well...! Fine. You win." Marc gave in.
So he asked him to join the clan and be a metal worker for them, and the dragon, Harvest, agreed. Pumpkin didn't have a clue until the day they were about to leave and she noticed Harvest coming along with them! She couldn't contain her joy, and started to introduce herself and started asking a billion questions, all of which Harvest answered calmly with amusement in his eyes, all while Hazel smiled to herself and chuckled. Pumpkin has not complained of being bored since.

Soon Harvest became Pumpkin's mate, and Pumpkin couldn't be more happy about it. She seems to have calmed down slightly, and is more content with her settling in the Wind Flight. Recently, a box of kittens were found near clan territory, and while the gray one seemed to love Grace and went to her, and the little calico was taken by Spottedleaf, the other three were scooped up by Pumpkin who has had them near her side ever since. The kitties like to cuddle with her and Harvest at night, and they really like Pumpkin's Velvet Floracat. They seem to be okay with Pumpkin's excitable and hyper life style, and have learned to hang onto her for dear life all the time and are often dazed by her fastness but seem up for whatever crazy flying trick she does next, and really seem to enjoy it, actually.
Lately, her cats have seen to leave her now and then to go to other dragons, but she doesn't mind. They always will still love her and go out on adventures with her. Little Velvet never leaves her side though, and is always with her, and Cat is great friends with her.
