Prism : the black pawn

-{ [ noun ] an object that splits white light into a spectrum. }-

Already scavenging for a living, Prism came to the Node and offered her services in exchange for a social life and company - working and living alone with nobody to talk to was never something Prism would define as much fun.

Prism insists that she is mostly a free agent. She lived at the Node and payed her way for shelter and food but she is was never an official Node dragon - or so she says. She has her own dreams and ambitions and she doesn't need other wyrms weighing her down and the Node dragons were some of the most interesting dragons around at the time. That and being a sort-of-member gave her access to some information where she might be able to locate or overhear something about valuable treasure.

While self-motivated, selfish and determined to have her own way in things, Prism is surprisingly easy to control and manipulate, which is a good thing considering how unpredictable she can be. Though uncaring in regards to strangers and those whom she is not fond, Prism lies to herself when she claims that she doesn't care one bit about whom she offends or hurts seeing as she values her social life above all other things and for that to exist she needs some positive relationships in her life.

While at the Node, she maintained a complicated relationship with Plasma, getting close to him through her frequent need of his services in patching her up after things get messy and then having nested with him several times after his former mate, Stellar, went missing. Rumour is that Prism was somehow involved with her disappearance; she has never confirmed, denied or even commented on this issue.

Prism prides herself on how she has never failed to retrieve what she has set out for. Though she cares almost as much about her appearance as she does about her social life, she is more than willing to get her hands dirty - or her whole body dirty in pulling something out of the ground or wrestling it from the grip of another. She spends hours each day preening herself to perfection before she heads out and after she returns.

Seeing as Prism is more than willing to go and throw her weight around, lie and cheat, she often got manipulated by the Node dragon into going into areas of high risk to retrieve objects of value. She was never told directly, but the whispers all pointed towards it and she went along, thinking she was one step ahead. She brought it it back, cashed it in and believed that she has profited once more from opportunity of careless chatter.

One day she finally realised what was happening, packed her bags and left without a word.
