The mesa's weird old grandmas; they love to stir the pot, so to speak, and intentionally cultivate an image far more severe than their personalities. They frequently leave their scrimshaw in conspicuous places around the lair, where the other residents treat them like guerrilla art installations, though they claim it's only their way of recordkeeping. No one has been able to figure out what they're using it to keep records of.
