Xander is a male Skydancer from the Starfall Isles. He was a little reluctant leaving home, but he knew he had to expand his horizons…and get out of his adoptive grandmother’s feathers. He was a bit nervous when he first arrived at the clan, but he soon found his niche and his true colors started to show…for better or worse. Hearing that Bryahg, the clan’s Scout, needed some help (due to his Spiral tendency to fall asleep randomly), Xander agreed to be a Scout as well, learning from his adoptive grandmother beforehand. Because he was taught how to be scout early on, Xander was a perfect candidate for a scout. He was highly observant, and the fact that he could sense magical energies and various spikes in emotion made him great for scouting. Being just as active as a Spiral helps him as well. He’s very sensitive to others’ emotions, and their magic, if they’re magic users. Especially magic. If someone’s magic is too strong, it can overwhelm him and either make him pass out, or make him sick. But he can also detect emotions, and therefore be able to sense if enemies are coming towards the clan. Despite Xander being an asset to the Windcurrent clan, his attitude can sometimes be less than desirable. While he’s nowhere near as bad as Artemis, he can be a bit cocky and holier than thou. He loves testing limits of other dragons, being entertained by how their emotions and energy spikes, when he pushes them. He can also be the occasional joker and loves pranks. His favorite dragon to get into verbal rows with is Mereda—the poison witch of the clan. She acts so high and mighty herself, but Xander has sensed a few things about her that he knows would undermine her demeanor as a cruel Plague witch… Overall, Xander isn’t a bad dragon. He doesn’t push limits, and once he realizes he’s gone too far, he’s quick to apologize, and it’s a truthful apology, as well. He doesn’t like hurting others’ feelings, just so he can be tickled by energy and emotion spikes. While he doesn’t show it, Xander is actually rather emotional himself. If dragons around him are happy, he’s happy. If they’re sad, he’s sad. If they’re mad, he gets mad. Because of his sensitivity to emotions and energies, he’ll get ‘infected’ with emotions, if they’re in a large enough group. He tries to hide this part of him from others, not wanting to seem too sensitive. Gijinka: Xander is a lanky male, with grayish skin, and bright red hair. His bright purple eyes stand out from his skin. He’s often wearing tight clothes, along with hats and scarves—a ‘hipster’ look, so to speak. He has several scarves and hats at his disposal.
