Prince 
Eos was a prince, at some point in time. Deep within the Sheep Clan borders, however, with a scar that mars half his face, now he is little more than has-been royalty, caring for a brother he hardly knew and is unsure he truly loves as his sibling anymore. Eos ended up next in line for the throne, despite having an older brother, Ambrose, who was just as capable of ruling. However, due to his brother's magical potential but instability with it, he was sent away to study arcane magics while his younger brother was put on the throne in his place. Eos is a gentle, kind soul who did all he could to help his people during their times of need and the slow creeping famine that had begun to infect their kingdom's lands since Ambrose's departure. The illness turned crops to blackened husks, and made any who tried to eat said crops slowly turn to an equally empty, pale corpse. The cause of the sickness affecting the crops was never discovered, though since meeting his brother after so many years apart, Eos has come to wonder if the cause had been something less than natural. Nevertheless, Ambrose returned from the Mage's College many years after that famine and starvation had ravaged the kingdom and left it struggling. He demanded the throne, and Eos returned it to his older sibling without strife. He only interfered when his brother tried to put their own parents to death for sending him away and stealing his rule, earning himself the arcane burn that ate away the scales and skin of his left cheek, leaving it a marred mess. When the uprising of the people, desperate and hungry, came, and Ambrose was attacked on the throne, Eos did everything he could to save him. No matter the wounds he might have earned from him, or the blood on his claws, he could not leave him to die after so long of never seeing him. His brother's spine took grave damage from the onslaught of angry peasants, leaving him numb from the waist down. They sought shelter within the gates of the Sheep Clan, heard news of their welcoming attitude to outsiders. Eos now cares for his brother as he cannot hunt for himself, nor can he find a way to heal his legs with the use of magic. His brother shows no respect for him, however, nor gives any thanks for the work he puts into supporting them both. The constant barrage of insults and general negativity has begun to affect Eos in poor ways, but he continues to keep trying, for both their sake. N/A N/A |
