A legacy challenge is a breeding game where you have 10 generations of dragons, starting with either a gen 1 dragon or the cheapest, geneless dragon you can find, to breed the best, fanciest dragon you possibly can.
• You must start with a first generation dragon. The dragon can not have any gene or species changes before breeding.
• The starting dragon's mate must be the same flight. You will have to purchase mates of the original flight for the duration of the challenge. For example, if you start with a gen one wind dragon, you can only purchase mates for your heirs that are also wind flight.
• The first egg in the clutch is ALWAYS the heir-- no exceptions. Even if every other hatchling in the clutch came out nicer looking, the leftmost dragon will be the one you use to continue the challenge. This dragon, like it's parent, can not be modified in any way before you breed the next generation of dragons from it.
• For each generation of dragons, you have a budget for buying the mate. The budget is 10KT x what generation you're on. For the first mate you have a budget of 10KT, the second has 20KT, the third has 30KT and so on. (note: the rules for this were pretty obviously written al ong time ago, since these days you can buy iri/shim/circuit coatls for less than 10K. I recommend halving the budget for a more challenging experience. ;) )
