Crow loves shiny things, he loves collecting them, looking at them, and being surrounded by them. He prefers to stay quiet, listen and help, but on occasion he will open up and offer advice or wisdom. He's calm, collected and reserved. He is the Prince of the lair, and for this, he is the one often sent on diplomatic missions and often serves as the Ambassador. Cornix, the High Matriarch, believes he should see as much of the world as possible before he becomes the true ruler of the lair, that, and she doesn't wish to give up her metaphorical crown just yet. Clan Cornix and Clan Draconequis are close companions that are connected via tunnels that travel from the Western edge of the Reedcleft Ascent to the Southern tip of the Starfall Isles, and often Crow will accompany Yersina, the offspring of two dragons from Clan Draconequis, through these tunnels.

Absconding
Crow set the jewelry on the large, glossy, tree stump table, a small tink sounding as metal hit the wood. He didn't stutter at the sound, for it had been so faint for him. He walked out of the structure and turned to look at it. The base, and part of the walls, were made of stone, grey, crumbling and natural. It had once been a magnificent cave, or so Crow thought, that had been eroded away by the wind and rain. The rest of the structure was made up of caramel barked trees that leaned and branched across the stone, held together by chains, rope, ribbon, string and other long items that had been looped, tied and strung around the trees, giving the structure it's name, The Dreamcatcher. A small, handmade sign sat crooked near the entrance, the design simple but elegant.

Crow walked over to it and grabbing it in his front claws before gently moving it back into place. He smiled and then took flight, looking for herbs, trinkets and other random items in which he could use to make other concoctions or trinkets. He soared through the skies, the sun, 3 quarters of the way through the sky, sent rays of sunlight that glint off of his bare black wings, casting tiny rainbows on them. His black guise fluttered around him, the hood threatening to fall off, but held in place by the larger horn that poked out. Tiny flames danced and flickered around him as he searched the lands below him for anything. He stopped and grabbed a few claw fulls of fever few, mint and a some other herbs he saw before taking flight.

After another hour of searching he headed back with what he had found and lied them out on a large rock to dry. He then took his hood down and walked back to the Dreamcatcher, pausing and smiling as a familiar scent hit his nose. He walked in, dead silent, to see an elegant Skydancer admiring herself in the reflection of a silver platter, her reflection almost perfectly mirrored in the trinket. "I thought you would like them..." he rumbled. The Skydancer paused and turned around to reveal a smile on her lips, "Well you are correct in your assumption." she said, her voice higher and softer than his. He chuckled, "Zenith found them while he was out and brought them to me, thought I could possibly exchange them or transmute them into something I could use, but I got to looking at them and thought 'Well... I know a certain Princess that would like them'.", he nodded towards the jewelry she now wore. The Skydancer smiled, "Oh Crow... You know me too well." she said, walking over, her body moving gracefully, "My dearest Sinopa, I sure hope so. You are my mate, and future Queen." Crow said, his voice softer as she approached, the wicked glint in her ruby red eyes caught his attention. Sinopa grinned, her smile matching the glint in her eyes, "Come... I want to show you what I've done with my part of the cave..." she said, grabbing one of his long, black whiskers and letting is slip through her hands as she passed, on her way into another part of the tree and stone structure. Crow shuddered softly before smiling and trailing after her, the chain on his tail jingly softly as his tail moved to the side, allowing him to follow her.

Battle Ready
An obsidian dragon stood on the tall, chiseled stone battlements, his icy, white eyes narrowed at the landscape sprawled before him. The rivaling clan was now near visible on the horizon ,and they would be upon the clan before the day was out. The wind stirred and lashed around the obsidian dragon, whipping his fiery golden mane around him, as if it could sense the oncoming battle that would soon ensue. The black dragon began to growl, fighting the urge to lash his tail, but it was quickly stifled as a scent caught his nose. His whole demeanor changed, no longer buzzing with the urge to fight. No, his was the appearance of a High Lord, unruffled by the threat leagues before him.

He didn't take his eyes off the horizon as a presence took place next to him.

“My Lord, the warriors are prepared for whenever you wish to take off." there was a pause, before the voice added, a bit softer, "You may want to put on your armor."

The High Lord's eyes finally slid to look at the owner of the voice. A black and blue guardian, sporting obsidian armor, a grey wolf pelt and a gruesome looking trident, looked back, her eyes the same color as his. “Ah River...” he thought.

"Thank you, Commander Shepard. I realize I should be dressed in more appropriate attire. I wished to see how far they had come." he said, looking out on the horizon once more. The approaching army had been foretold of days prior by a courier, Pyralis. They had been delivering a message and waiting for a reply when a young half-ember had caught their eye. Instead of leaving the dragon there, kept against her will, Pyralis stole her away.. The young courier had been exhausted from traveling, but had wasted no time in finding Crow the middle of a council meeting.

"I take it Pyralis and our newest addition have been taken care of? I know they were both quite exhausted upon arrival," he said, moving away from the edge of the battlements towards the descending flight of stairs.

"Yes, High Lord Crow, they were seen to," River said, voice even. Crow nodded in response.

Crow descended to find his golden armor sitting off to the right of the stairs. His squire, Chiroptera, stood awkwardly next to it. Her one focused eye landed on him as she gave a crooked smile. "All squeaky clean m'lord!" she chirped.

He dipped his chin at the purple nocturne, who, in turn, whipped around and nearly tumbled into the ground as she took flight. Her movements were awkward, jerky, it made anyone who looked upon her think she might fall from the sky at any moment,

"I will never get used to that..." Crow heard behind him. He turned in time to see River wince. Crow chuckled and quickly absconded with the freshly polished gold armor and disappeared for a few moments.

He returned adorned in gold, the banners cloaking his wings flapping in the breeze, metal claws jingling with each step he took. He opened his maw to speak, when something flashed in the corner of his eye. He turned to see ruby red eyes staring at him from underneath alabaster armor. Panic rose in his throat like bile as he took in the dragoness : the slivers of icy white and midnight blues peeking from under her armor, the navy feathers that adorned her neck overflowed along the neck of the breastplate, the resolve in those beautiful, bright red eyes.

"What are you doing in that?" he said tightly, feeling his throat close up as he spotted the plague crested tome at her hip.

The red eyed skydancer looked at him defiantly. "Just because I am the High Lady, and your mate, does not mean I have no place on the battlefield." she said, her tone daring him to say otherwise, "I am as much their leader as you are and I will be out there defending my people alongside you."

The obsidian pearlcatcher looked pained, but understanding showed in his eyes, “I know. I don't like it, but it isn't within my right to stop you. Although, I must warn you, Commander Shepard cannot be spared to protect you during the battle, Sinopa, even if you are her charge. She is needed in the front with the warriors." Crow replied, hoping to deter her, but the gleam in her eyes said otherwise. Why hadn't River warned him?

Another flash, this one red, as a decrepit, yet oddly alluring, young wildclaw landed beside the High Lady. The contrast was stark. The, clearly younger, wildclaw stood tall beside Sinopa. Her black and gorey red appearance looked almost garish against the elegant white and navy of the skydancer beside her. "Yersina will be with me at all times, along with the legion of sorcerers that will take to the skies. Lady Death will also be with us, her adept skills in both sword craft and sorcery will keep the enemies at bay," Sinopa stated, moving towards Crow. "I will be safe, or at least just as safe as you will be. So if you demand I stay here... Then you are not allowed to leave." she said softly, her voice seeping anger. Not at Crow, of course, but at the situation in which the clan was forced.

"Do not worry fath- My lord," the red wildclaw murmured, "I will keep her safe..." she looked at him with pink eyes that showed bright against the red of her scales "We will return."

Crow nodded, taking one last moment to take in his mate's features. "We leave at once. Ready the warriors for flight."

Crow’s eyes met Sinopa’s to find her memorizing his own features, "I am yours... And you are mine." she murmured, so only he could hear.
