Caspian

The young, muscled Guardian is unwinding the snakelike dragon from around him when you approach. The Spiral's tail is stubbornly gripping Caspian's hind right leg and tail, and he is obviously bothered. He looks as if he wants to yank him off even if it means breaking the Spiral's tail, but he just growls and mutters under his breath. He looks up to see you watching the scene with an amused expression; he sort of shrugs with his wings.

"Hey, um, welcome to our lair. You kinda caught me in a sticky situation, but that's a Spiral for you, huh? Anyways, my name is Caspian, although I'm guessing you already know that." He steals a glance at his mother as he says this, his trapped tail twitching. "I'm the head of security, so I tell all of the guards when to go and where. I also guard the main entrance most of the time. Not that I really need to," he adds, "there are sensors and things all over the place. But you'll learn about that soon enough, if you decide to stick around."

He shifts his gaze to his right, where a couple of Wildclaws are entering the room. The first, dressed in very bright green-and-aqua colors, is chattering excitedly, while his metallic gray friend nods in ecstatic agreement. The neon one stops to speak with a pure white Coatl, who flicks his snowy feather crest forward with such vigor that his golden glasses nearly topple off of his muzzle. You can't help but wonder what they are so excited about. Caspian slides his gaze back to you, and you think you see a bit of pride in his eyes at your curiosity.

"Well, have a nice stay - and feel free to explore! That storm won't be brief, but hey, around here that's a good thing."
