Minoo's joy in life is exploring the world to see birds in their natural habitats, studying and observing them while caring for any injured ones she finds. Her pet caiman Rosette accompanies her in a pouch, eager to eat her feathered acquaintances but always denied.

She tries not to befriend the birds she observes but unfortunately over the course of time she's accumulated a small flock of assorted species who seem to regard her as "biggest, best birb" and refuse to leave her alone, roosting in her antlers and mane and sheltering under her large wingspan. She tries to shoo them away every now and then, but her efforts are belied by her calm, sweet nature and her scattering the food they need around her own lair. Amiable and social enough, she still prefers to keep her own 'roost' separate and lofty from the rest of the clan.
