*Crests move to indicate excitement, but the voice is monotone.* Greetings. I'm IceLakeRivers and I apologize if I sound like an emotionless being. Fae dragons have difficulty with using our voices for expressions compared to the rest of the dragons. I was imported here from Synchronicity's clan as a pact of friendship along with two other hatchlings.
We get along very well, though I have the hardest time fitting in with my voice patterns. Mimic seems to comprehend that my crests are my feelings and expressions and managed to explained it to the rest of the nestmates in my stead. It made things more bearable as they try to learn to read my crests instead of listening to my voice for the signals they need to know. The coatls are the furthest behind on the subject as they are a species that relies on an expressive voice to communicate with others, no matter how annoying they sound to the rest of us. But with Gemfeather's talent for understanding, that may change and it is something I can hope for.
Even as an adult, I'm the smallest member of the clan. I don't mind. It's no burden for me to perch on Mimic and join her on hunts for small prey.
Since writing is another way to express emotions, I'll take Mimic's suggestion and write about my days here with the clan and let the others read it so they can learn my feelings another way.
If you wish to read my journal entries, you'll find it here; http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/cc/1548266
