Bio - Fruma is older than nearly anyone else in the clan. She has been alive for centuries, and has seen abominations the likes of which this age could not hope to reproduce - and she is a student & a scholar of that history, seeking to ensure that such horrors never occur again.
Fruma is quiet - perhaps as a result of trauma, perhaps due to something inherent in her personality, perhaps because she is, after all, a librarian. She is solemnly devoted to her duty & vocation - the stewardship of knowledge.
When Spikenard was still located in her native Wind territory, Fruma collected arcane (and Arcane) texts, oral histories, philosophical tracts, manifestos bursting with political zeal, and anything written she could get into her claws. She collected her hoard with bright and cheerful fervor. When her clan was driven out of the Zephyr Steppes, Fruma made sure her entire hoard fit onto the lair-balloon before they departed.
When the clan settled into its Tower in the Hewn City, as soon as they'd cleansed the land of Shade contamination, the first burrowing they did provided space for a library warren: a series of shallow caves dug directly into clifftop bedrock, connected by narrow and winding passagetunnels, and lit by braziers of glowing pocket baubles or firebrand tungsten. Shallow shelving and small bins full of tablets and scroll cases are built into the curved walls of each cave.
The whole system is too small for any dragon larger than a pearlcatcher. Fruma alone understand the filing system - though she is finally training an apprentice. She hopes to teach him enough that he may run the more day-to-day necessities: lending out adventure tales of exalted dragons, or stories about the deities, to hatchlings; locating battle plans from dominance battles past; helping local harpies with beginner's written draconic; finding dialect-to-common dictionaries for visiting or new clan-members.
She has always taught the clan's hatchlings their basics, while also keeping them - and the rest of the clan's younger members - away from some of the more questionable texts & the knowledge she's collected. The library itself will aid her in this - the tunnels themselves seem to twist around on themselves to prevent access to the most secret caves and crevasses. For all that Spikenard's land has been Shade-free for a century, sometimes the caves seem alive, and nowhere is that more apparent than in the library, filled as it is with writing, and words, and knowledge from ages past, which nearly comes alive in the confined space.
If she can delegate some of this work, and free up more of her time, she can begin venturing out into the local ruins to take rubbings from crumbling tablets - to begin expanding her collection again, rather than just curating it. And, though she feels a bit foolish for considering it, she could also pursue a personal life for the first time in her life. She recently laid a nest for the first time since before Spikenard came to Light. She's taken a more romantic interest in a recent arrival, who has most certainly noticed her back - but Fruma hasn't quite worked out that the interest is mutual, yet...
