CLAN HISTORY

Everyone knows that something is wrong in the woods. There's something wrong with the plant life, the water. Flowers are growing black and shadows are growing longer. The Shade works it's magic, even in the cradle of life.

The Wanderers have driven their clan deeper and deeper, where the trees are nearly touch the sky, trunks so thick around that even ten spirals would be unable to encircle them. They perform tests and rites, collect samples and perform experiments to measure and understand the corruption. Over the years, the clan has grown and then shrunk, and then shrunk further still.

The woods have tightened, and their satchels have grown heavy with data. It's time to move on. It's time to go somewhere where other dragons might be able to help them unravel the mysteries they've acquired.

The trek from the deepest woods back to civilization was a rough one, and the clan split in the journey. Some left for convents to serve the Gladekeeper in an attempt to cover up what they had seen in the dark, and others simply couldn't handle the ruggedness of the lifestyle Aurulent and Anwyn had pushed on everyone. They were loathe to admit it, but the long journey from the Shrieking Wilds to the Mirrorlight Promenade was easier with less dragons to feed and shelter. They settled on the outskirts of the ruins, atop gentle grasses and among golden trees, and finally felt something like relaxation. Maybe the dragons who had left had been right, to abandon the endless wandering?

Life is easier, on the Mirrorlight Promenade, though infinitely brighter. After so long in the dark woods and jungles, everyone has finds their eyes stinging and squinting. Veils and goggles have become common attire. Though so many have been lost on the way there, many new dragons have been found. The remains of an acting house has moved in, and hatchlings orphaned by Luminax's rampage have found safe haven among the few remaining nesting pairs.

____In the Gladekeepers domain, Elder was the recordkeeper, the crypt manager, the one who managed burials and rites of the deceased. She is a scribe with nerves of steel. Nothing could bother her, she faced deadly dangers, all manner of stressful situations and chaos with an impassive expression.

_The Records_

____Elder's records are on a multitude of materials. Leaves, bark, parchment, vellum. Whatever materials they had on hand at the time were what used to record their exploits. All great expeditioners kept meticulous records, and Elder embodies that meticulousness.
