His skin and feathers are coated in a crystal exterior except for where his okapi is concerned. Those parts of his body are 'normal' flesh and feathers.

While many who live and work in the clan are familiar with him. Those that pass through often try to avoid him, believing him to be some sort of oddity. Some believe him to be a living experiment gone wrong and others believe him a crystal construct brought to life by some mage and left to wander. There are even those that say he is a crystal husk possessed by the shade.

He pays no mind to the various theories that surround him, however. It is not uncommon to see dragons adorened in crystals nor is it even odd to see them with skin made of it. Perhaps it's the mixture of crystal and flesh in places that wings aren't concerned (as of course it's also perfectly normal to see a crystal skinned dragon with wings of flesh). Either way he does not bother with their stories. Instead he prefers to tinker with the jewels and crystals that pass through the clan.

A fire dragon at heart, he had little trouble learning the art and while some find it quite amusing that a dragon made of what appears to be jewels also fashions them into jewelry, he simply enjoys the work.

In fact he takes great pride in his craft and besides adorning himself in some of his best work he will often leave trinkets for others in the clan. It isn't uncommon to see several members of the clan, regardless of status, sporting shiny trinkets.
