Tinker

Tinker loves taking electronics apart and putting them back together to see how they work. He's constantly tinkering around the Lightning Farm, examining the array of spires and rewiring the coils. He wants to know where the wires lead and burrows into the mesas to follow them. There must be a secret laboratory or workshop somewhere under the Shifting Expanse. Tinker also joins in Eko's experiments, telling him how he could how he could optimize the circuitry or even use it to create robots. Unfortunately the ridgeback doesn't seem to appreciate his help. Eko's told Tinker to go coil himself around the Tempest Spire more than once.
