Generally Onikslen is a calm and good-natured dragon although he can be quite mischievous at times. He was nicknamed “Nick” by the twins because they deemed his name too complicated. Karmil considers him as a mentor and the rest of the clan also have a high opinion of him and often come to him to ask him for advice.

Born and raised in a small clan of nomad dragons, Onikslen developed from a young age an interest in nature and often assisted in gathering things like woods and plants for the rest of the clan, so it was no surprise that he became the gatherer of the clan once he was an adult. Eventually he became so interested with the nature of the Scarred Wasteland that he decided to wander through the lands on his own and left his clan.
After years of wandering and meeting all kinds of dragons, Onikslen came across Corduth mourning the death of her clan. He saw the pain she was in and wanted to help her cope with her grieve but he never thought she would decide to join him on his journey.
