Pristella is seen as much a treasure to the clan, by the eyes of Skrum and Taernyll, as a mountain of gold and riches that flowed without stop. In the earliest days of the clan's origin, when Skrum and Weliana brooded over their first clutch of spawn, they began to take on the challenges of the Colisseum together. As a duo in a three-man team arena, they required new blood for their goals. There she was, matured and even ready to breed on the market and trade, for a price so low it fell short of most wet hatchlings.
She wished to break off from her home tree and make it on the world somewhere. Her clan acknowledged this desire and made deal to find some coin in exchange for her custody. Met with the rough and unforgiving climate of the Fire clan with a sense of condescension and irritation, but with the will to temper her prudence for the sake of experience and gratitude. Upon arriving, her binds were released and she was made an honored member of the clan, being taken to battles within the evening, and bred just as fast. Appreciating the experiences.
She contributes to the Coliseum band "Dichotomy" with Skrum and Weliana by offering a tremendous power in magic and sturdy, time tested technologies.
She is soft spoken and very well mannered, but not afraid to criticize when prompted, and can come off as matter-of-fact to those who do not know her well.

She has a romantic relationship with Shor, Skrum's grandson and Daiq's brother.
