Biography
Ninereeds is named after the dragon Twoflower names after HIS tutor in "The Color of Magic" by Terry Pratchett. Our Ninereeds is also a teacher at heart; although he enjoys fieldwork just a bit too much (as evidenced by his eye scar. While she hates that he took such a risk, Whim says it makes him look distinguished.)
Ninereeds has recently relinquished his place in the clan's battle lineup to Gabriel, in order to devote more time to administrative tasks (the clan has grown considerably since he and Whim founded it, after all!) However, most of that free time is now spent working on all the research he never got around to earlier. Whim rolls her eyes but doesn't bother him, because he's earned it.
Despite his slightly intimidating appearance, Ninereeds is actually quite approachable and any dragon standing hesitantly outside his office is ushered inside. He views it as part of his duty to provide guidance and advice to members of the clan.
While nowhere as lovey-dovey as Dart and Cybermancy, he and Whim have a solid relationship that only grows stronger as the years roll by.
