Azuran helped to found the Eryn'Dar Refuge alongside Azirite; in its early days he operated as the male leader, though he has since passed the job and its responsibilities to Gauran. This has given him the chance to follow his dream job, that of a 'Teacher', taking the responsibility of teaching the youngsters a variety of lessons, as well as taking the full responsibility of training those who will eventually serve the Gladekeeper. Though he is no longer the Tzar of the clan, he still offers advice and suggestions to Azirite and Gauran, often acting as a sounding board for the two leaders. Currently, Azuran operates as the clan's main digger, providing enough resources for his other hobby, that of alchemy, as well as steady supply od materials that the clan needs. Though most dragons know to avoid him when he starts to 'experiment'. Referred to as the 'Striker', Azuran is primarily a physical attacker, using his greater speed and strength to take down his enemies. He also has the spell 'reflect' which he uses to protect his younger charges whilst training them, a trait he has passed on to Gauran.

During the clans early days, Azuran was partnered with Azirite, both as its leader and as her mate, however as time passed, the feelings the two had for one another shifted; changing into a deep friendship that exists to this day. Since then, Azuran has found other half the form of the arcane born mirror, Ruariite, to whom he cares for deeply.Though he cares deeply for those under his instruction, he is also very stern with them, making sure that they rarely make the same mistakes twice; though his fussiness occasionally drives some youngsters crazy; and sometimes his curiosity gets them all into trouble, resulting in some unusual situations. His loyalty is without question, both to his clan and to the deity he serves. His favourite food are the tundra cactus, which is a delicacy in the Eryn'Dar, as they haven't had many excursions to the Southern Icefield. Scyla, his scaleback familiar, as well as the scarf and 'skin' that he wears, were given to him as a gift from other dragons that encountered prior to meeting Azirite, and the founding of the Refuge.

History
Born to clan which has since vanished, Azuran, much like Azirite has barely any knowledge of his parentage; he hatched in an abandoned lair, surrounded numerous bones of different shapes and sizes. Not wishing to remain in the creepy place, he ran off into the wilderness, though it wasn't long before he was found by a wandering pair of dragons. Seeing the young Tundra, they took him under their wings and helped to look after him. As time passed, he spent time with the various nomadic dragons, each of them imparting different bits of knowledge to him, such as the terms 'Tsarina' and 'Tzar'. One generous dragon bequeathed him a Scaleback familiar, as he had no room for the energetic feline. Scyla became his companion as he began to travel of his own accord; the skin and scarf were also given as gifts after he helped save a escaped hatchlings life. Eventually his wanderings took him into the Everbloom Gardens, where Scyla darted away, chasing after something, following her, he eventually stumbled upon Azirite, who's pale colors and loneliness caught his attention, though it was several days before he earned her trust. The two became mates as the Lair slowly grew, and successfully clutched 3 eggs during the time they were together.

Mate: Ruariite

Tired, but happy to be back home after the time spent with various clans of the Arcane flight, all part of her job as the Arcane Envoy for the Eyrn'Dar; Rauriite sighs and flops down on a nearby bed of leaves to relax. Settling further into the leaves, she hears a soft gasp and is surprised to hear a new voice. Well, not new; one she'd heard before whilst with others, but not one that she'd ever paid too much attention too, seeing as she was determined to do the best work she could for the clan.

“Don’t lay there, please!” It was Azuran! Like all dragons at the Eyrn'Dar, Rauriite knew of him and had conversed with him a few times, since he often advised the leaders about various thing, and had in fact offered her advice on several matters; today however, there was something about him that touched her in another way this time.

She realized that she must have been staring at him and spacing out because he huffed a little. “Please, can you get up? I must insist, I have a few materials for experiments hidden in those leaves. I’ve hidden them from the younglings, those little rascals.” He babbles on fondly. Startled, she glanced down at where she was laid, before scrambling to her feet. “Oh! I apologize, I hadn’t realized.”

Azuran chuckled, waving a claw at her apology. “Oh, that’s alright. I say, you look a little tired, how’s to say we head over to the nests and talk? I haven’t had the pleasure of getting to know you better, since your arrival at the Refuge”. Of course she’d love to! “I would enjoy that very much.” Ruariite responded, heart skipping a beat at the smile that lit the Tundra's face. “Follow me, my dear.”

For weeks, ever since that day, she and Azuran have gotten a lot closer, talking to one another, as they spent whatever time the could simply been with one another. Raurite enjoyed accompanying him and watching him teach, and Azuran would often be waiting for her to return from her numerous talks with the other Arcane clans; she thought he was such a gentleman.

“Rauriite, my dear.” Azuran edged closer to her one day, his voice holding a tone of anticipation and pure devotion. She looked over at him with the same emotions in her eyes. “Yes Azuran?” She answered.

“Over time, I have come to realize what an amazing individual you are, perfect, beautiful, intelligent, and many other wonderful things, and have come to develop feelings for you, Those emotions, which i have only once before skimmed the surface of; those emotions have made me realise that it is you, my heart, you are the only one i wish to be by my side as my mate."

Rauriite had never felt a happiness such as what infused her at his heartfelt words, beaming she as she responded, she let her own emotions echo in her voice. “I too, my love, feel the same. Ever since that day, I have felt it as well. I would love to be your mate, I would love nothing more than to spend the rest of our time together, by your side.”
Azuran’s expression held such an amount of joy that no words could describe it. “Then it shall be my dear!” He answered, pressing his cheek against the mirror's own.

From then on, the two shared a nest, Azuran’s fur covered body curled around Rauriite’s, his wings covering them both, the two dragons cuddled in a close embrace, full of a mate’s vow of love and of compassion.
