Evenstar is just as naughty as his father, Alchemist, who is one very kind, but rebellious dragon. Evenstar, though, was not naughty but just aggressive when he was younger, and that didn't disappear mostly when he got older. Evenstar is smart and tomboyish, doesn't like doing official chores, often goes far from his lair looking for danger and dislikes ceremonious stuff he has to attend as an Alchemist's son. But he's good at hiding his displeasure, though. He likes grumpy Revenge, since he considers her being really 'cool'.
However, Evenstar has a secret he is hiding deep within: he adores the chill of being in danger and encountering wild beasts and enemy dragons. No one knows what he is doing out of the lair at nights, and he manages to wash the blood off his scales before returning home as the sun rises. If he reveals the truth to someone, he will forever be phohibited from leaving the lair, because his life and sanity mustn't be endangered at any point.
