Xerxes was the first to dwell in the lair, he was soon joined by Bastilla who became his first mate. Later other dragons joined the growing clan. As the clan grew space became limited, promting Bastilla to leave and join the ranks of the Stormcatcher. Not long after, he chose to join her in eternity with their elemental deity, and so Xerxes died...


Soon Xerxes discovered his only heir Borlag had been stripped of her rightful place as queen of the clan. She had been left to live out her days as blind, childless and unwanted. Xerxes could not bare to watch and do nothing. Defying the orders of the Stormcatcher Xerxes returned to the clan, back amongst the mortal dragons he waged war upon those who had refused his final wishes.

Respecting his tenacity the Stormcatcher did not punish Xerxes, but permitted him and Bastilla to return to being mortal. He said nah fam about all their dead kids tho.

"Tell me, where is Gadlaf for I much desire to speak with him." -Xerxes to Borlag concerning his son.
