Biography

tumblr_inline_nix1urjNpI1t8garv.png SANGUINAE
"Old French sanguin(e ) ‘blood red’, from Latin sanguineus ‘of blood’."

➳ Plague Flight Representative | Clan Healer
✖ CONTEMPLATIVE ✖ STEADFAST ✖ HOSTILE

At birth, the Wyrmwound bubbled in these eggs. It spread and touched them lovingly, as if Plaguebringer herself had pressed scaled lips to the tips of the eggs. When Sanguinae hatched, his limbs had been broken bits of bone and blood, and he was a living creature of bone and sinew. His cry was hoarse and raspy, and each word was gratingly slow. To say it would be hard to understand such a creature was an understatement, but his fraternal twin, Amentia, had no such problems.

He quickly became skilled in poisons and toxins, and could identify illness by the sickly sweet smell of it in the air. Why the two took up the profession of "healers" is hard to say, though most swear it is because of their morbid fascination with disease and death. He doesn't actually give the diagnosis, which is perhaps a relief because seeing a waving jaw without meat flapping at you can get fairly disconcerting for some.
