Demetrius left her hatchland as quickly as she could manage. Despite being arcaneborn, something about the Starfall Isles unnerved her, and she wanted out. Despite this flee from her hatchland, she remains curious and intrigued, as is in the nature of most arcane dragons. She has pursued runes as her trade, practicing on odd bits and pieces of things, mostly, but occasionally something more.

To her, runes are an art. They can do many things, or nothing, depending on how they are drawn. Many do nothing, due to poor penmanship or intentional mistakes. These are often decoration, appearing in paint or tattoos on the dragon or item. But many do something, so even intentional mistakes must be careful constructed, so as not to have an unwanted effect. The runes she specializes in are usually magical currents, like nature or water magic, for example, to give a dragon a small boost in their ability to use that kind of magic, even if it's not their flight.

Her den is connected to the many tunnels that Seafoam has dug, on the inside of the cliff rather than the outside, but it is still lined with the amber sap that makes the walls smooth and cozy. She shares it with Trapper and their familiars, and it is, truly, the perfect size for them.
