Malta was adopted from a Lightning Clan, and upon arrival tamed the Lightning Lancer that had been annoying the clan for some time. She was a little unsure in this Arcane Clan. Marie has assure her that all is well, as she to had felt the same way. The Guardian and Fae seem to be sticking together.

Malta was around when a lightning egg tumbled down from the area she was scavenging in near her old home in The Shifting Expanse. She spent a few days asking around about the egg in question but no one in the area seemed to be missing one. The Guardian took it upon herself to take the egg home and hatch it in an Arcane Nest. She was shocked and elated when a baby Guardian came out. A child she could relate to and nurture.

Malta stayed with the youngling in the lair until he could amble about on his own. When Lee could move about and was a good size the pair would fly or walk and scavenge in the same area. She was afraid to show him affection in public, lest the others think her weak or soft. And only when Lee got hurt, upset or did something amazing did she embrace him. She loves him dearly but she dislikes showing affection unless the time is right.
