Biography

Nebula

Nebula fled almost as soon as she was born. The strongest of her clutch, she left her egg first and shrieked for her mother, but no one came. There was a commotion nearby, though her muddled senses couldn't tell what exactly was happening. She only knew that she had to go. Against her body's newborn needs, she fluttered up, clinging to the wires that criss-crossed the hatchery walls. She crawled along them, past the commotion where she heard angry shrieks- a crowd too thick to see, though her sense pulled her to the centre where her mother stood- but carried on. She kept going, all the way up through the lair. Eventually she came to a large imperial sat impassive next to a gaping hole in the wall. Exhausted, she collapsed.

Nebula awoke to find she was close to where she had fallen asleep. A pile of chewed meat nearby awoke her senses to find she was ravenous. Soon, an earthquake rocked her new world. The earthquake revealed itself to be the imperial she had come to the day before. He said nothing and did not nudge her back to the hatchery, simply letting her stay where she was. She ate and grew and still he did not talk. Mimicking him, she too stayed silent, creating an image for herself far too large for her small stature. She looked longingly at the light that filtered in through the hole in the wall of the lair, though her imperial surrogate continued to block her path to the outside world. She watched and waited and knew that one day she would escape this place.

Nebula has a lot of unexplored potential, though she may be mute due to her unusual upbringing. She could scout for new locations since she dreams of open air and sky.

Nebula was dropped at the lair by an Imperial dragon who left quickly without a word. She was pale from growing up in a cave and her scales showed only a hint of her true colors, but they were sparkling in the sunlight. She got her name from how the pale colors and glistening scales resembled a nebula full of newborn stars.

When she started having trouble seeing in the bright daylight a Tundra with soft brown fur handed her a beautiful blue cowl to wear. She wears it all day and during the night she pulls it back so she can look at the stars.
