Although Chiara did not always believe she was cut out to fight, the emergence into the Kelp Beds confirmed that she was destined to be a warrior. A single encounter with an elusive Mantarune, resulting in a quick defeat of her team, sparked determination within her. She trained for hours with her two best friends, Luinil and Rygar, patiently waiting to redeem herself. Her willpower spanned far past her wings' reaches when her redeeming moment came; she was rallied enough to deliver a powerful, cold blow to the aquatic fiend. Her team had defeated a Mantarune, but for Chiara it was not enough.

Shortly after her triumph over the rare creature, Chiara began to search for another. Now that she had conquered the beasts, her motherly character pushed her to befriend the species. With every meter she travels in the Kelp Beds grows a hope that she will one day encounter a beast willing to befriend her.
