Shartan

Born in clan to a dedicated family, Shartan did not embody the same 'free' spirit immediately that comes from the winds and sky, though they so did yearn for it. While they are nestled close with their clan, they feel some distance, and even worse, some suffocation. Their father, Fenris, spent much time away and left the rearing of the hatchling to the more boisterous and rowdy of the couple. While Hawke was present, he was more of a friend or brother than a parent, and for a time Shartan felt tied down.

Freedom beckoned to Shartan and it came in the form of flight and the hunt, escaping for a short time and returning in much better spirits to their peaceable clan. They stride to be as strong as their parents, though distant they might be, and ever celebrates when their father returns from other clans' service, eager to show them their new skills. But they still have far to go before mastering the arts of battle and mercenary work, hoping to impress their clan and gain freedom to move and breathe.
