Biography
Silanus Dragon of Many Faces Artist and Writer Mate of Acantha Keena Description Silanus is a very creative dragon who has no defined gender since they cycle through personalities at random. With how unstable their mind is, they find solace in the arts. Art brings much-needed balance to Silanus's life and they rejoice its unchanging nature. Other than art they don't do much except watch the stars with their mate Acantha. They love her so much and they hate to see her in any pain. Sadly they can see sorrow in her eyes sometimes, so they do all they can to make that sorrow go away. Sometimes they can't but they sure try to make her happy since they are to only one who knows of her past. |
Backstory
Silanus never had a normal life, they always had trouble in one way or another. Their royal mother and father made them strive to be more that a perfect hatchling. Because of this they always felt broken, and they started to resent their birth clan. So they left to live with that clan's ally in the nature flight. At first they were happy but soon they started to feel ever worse than they did when they lived at home. Again they left and ended up in the sanctuary shortly after they moved to the Sunbeam Ruins. Silanus found their little place in the temple after only being there about an hour. They were sure they would not be there long, yet in the back of their mind they just wanted a home. Yet as they spent time with the temple dwellers, they started to feel different. They did not feel as an outcast and some of the members understood them and how their mind works. For once they did not want to leave and when the subject came up they asked to stay since they felt as though they belonged in the temple. For the longest time, they happily lived and so there was another new dragon. The dragon was a young Imperial who was very unhappy, Silanus thought he should speak with her. When he did she just growled and hissed at them not willing to talk to them at all. Yet they kept trying to console and help the young dragon. Slowly and with nothing but love and kindness she started to open up to them. As she opened up they did not push they just listened and hugged her when she cried. One night as they painted Acantha came and laid next to them, as of only to watch them paint. Silanus didn't mind, but they could feel as though something was wrong. From the Imperial's place next to them, they heard a soft sigh. Looking up they saw tears in her eyes and a look of pure emotional pain. Oh, so carefully they reached up to hug the other dragon's muzzle. That night Acantha told them everything, and when she was done they just sat with her and told her how much they cared for her. They were so happy she trusted them and they would do nothing to betray that trust. Ever since that night the two became inseparable and Silanus found a place to call home. They are happy, and that is the way they will remain.
