A mild mannered Pearlcatcher, Zona knew from the moment she hatched, that she had some sort of special empathetic ability. This helped her to interact with all the dragons around her. Her favorite thing to do was to sit with other dragons and learn their way of speaking. More often than not she's the dragon that people come to for a shoulder to lean on.

Because of her kind nature, her clan loved her. They didn't even comment of the way her pearl seemed to change colors.

Well, at least, at first.

Dragons are always born with some sort of talent. Some are more apparent than others. Zona's was one of those talents.

The color of the mucus she applied to her pearl always changed. Her pearl went from white to blue to black to pink all in a matter of weeks. The more she added, the more it changed. Soon, she started to notice a pattern. When she applied a blue coat to her pearl, she encountered a sorrowful event. When it was white, a happy day would soon follow.
