Biography
Looking for her Admiration
Respect tossed and turned in her bed. She was restless, and couldn't suppress her agitation. Thick grey smoke slowly drifted out from her nostrils, fueled by her unsettled mood. Wolfric was infuriating! Absolutely maddening! He was a meddlesome troublemaker that needed to keep his potent mischief to himself and butt his big muzzle out of her business. The snapper had a penchant for appearing at the least opportune times, and with a stray comment here or a slight of claw there the whole scene would be turned on its head. In a matter of moments complete mayhem would be unleashed. Then somehow there he would be, sitting in the middle of the chaos, master of this domain of his creation.
To make matters worse, other dragons were starting to associate her with him! It was one thing to cultivate a notorious reputation for oneself, but he had no right to drag her into his mess. And she had no doubt he was behind the rumors. Innuendo was his native language, and he knew exactly what everyone would think when he said those things to and about her. Respect had worked too hard for too long to let some silver-tonged firebrand derail her lifestyle. The snapper was covered in oilslick scales, but when he came into her sights now all she saw was red.
Respect rolled over with an exasperated sigh. Wolfric may be exhausting, but here she was in her own space, the sanctuary of her own making. When she entered her chambers, she left all her daily concerns at the door. That was how the tundra had lived until now, and she was confident in her self-discipline in this area. So why couldn't she get the snapper off her mind?
