Saffron is a cheery little Coatl from a culinary background with her own skills to share. Though she is naturally a pescetarian, she does have a sweet tooth and frequently can be seen sipping on various nectars even ones that are mildly toxic to other dragons. Her tongue lends her a keen sense of smell. She makes good use of this as she flicks it through the air, sorting which seasoning is best for meals and which fruits are the most perfectly ripe.

Her keen sense of smell has led her and her mate to start up a cafe. When her sister came to clan Glittermoon, Saffron recruited her and her mate to the team. Saffron is considered the spice expert. Her job is to circle about the kitchen, adding spices and herbs to the recipes while the others cook. When she isn't fussing in the kitchen she is delivering meals to their customers with a big smile on her face.

Saffron is slow to anger but easily can be stressed by loud noises or unfamiliar dragons. During such situations she tends to "shutdown" and lose her grasp of common Draconian until she finds herself near a friend or other comfort. She prefers to avoid conflict wherever possible. However, if push comes to shove her diet of potent plants has made her venom particularly powerful and she will use it if she has to.
