Samarus

A loud-mouthed, egocentrical character, Samarus primarily hides his true feelings behind his enormous (though somewhat fake) self-pride. His mouth never stops moving and his chest could not be held any higher. Though Samarus shows himself off and is received as mostly, well, simply put, a jerk, he has many friends within the clan and has a sharp sense of humour, full of dryness and sarcasm. Samarus has a bizarre relationship with his familiar, Serene, who bosses him around to little avail and does things he is too lazy to do, acting paralleled to a mother. Samarus is truly quite cowardly despite his size, but Serene usually picks up what part of him is dead weight in a figurative sense. In a most unexplainable turn of events, Hiruu finds Samarus very interesting and wishes to get to know him more while Samarus practically ignores her. What relationship they have is mostly one-sided, but Samarus secretly relishes her company and cares for it more than anything besides Serene. An insecure soul hiding behind ego and an awkward book-worm without social abilities... opposites attract, no?
