The birth of Rubywing was not planned by his parents. Though he was born near the entrance of hell. His father was often judged for this, but he wanted his newborn to be strong. Though he did not prepare for the eggs to be nearly dropped into the pits of hell except for Rubywings egg.

Rubywings' egg caught on the door and held there giving his father just enough time to grab the egg and pull it towards safety, but he could not safe Rubywing of the taint of the Demon's magic. It created blood red jewels on his body that seem to pulse with a red glow.

As the demonic magic pools into Rubywings jewels, it caused him to become manic and it caused other dragons to fear and avoid him. This caused his shy nature though he met the Oracle who took pity on him and began to show him the ways to control the magic in his body.She introduced him to a Lamia named Piro who was viced in potions and was able to extract the demonic magic out of his body and let him live a semi-normal life.

Till this day he resides in the clan trying to help the Oracle with her work.
