═════════════════════════════════════════════ Benedicte Foria ; Chief Scavenger of the Kage Clan ═════════════════════════════════════════════ From a young age, Benedicte was obsessed with the former clan of her mother, with their lightning features and electric blue eyes. Until she looked upon her reflection, she believed she had those eyes too. Benedicte is one of the gatherers of the clan and goes around her day collecting whatever food or items she may find. She is rather good at it and is considered the "chief gatherer" to the clan, though she does not consider it all too important. All she cares about is keeping everyone well fed and happy, and she is never slow to crack a joke or smile. "We're the earth and sky, Kyasunie and me. It's humorous thinking about how different we all are." Growing up, Benedicte spent most of her time by her mother's side, learning her teachings and in many ways, learning how to teach. For a long time, she saw herself becoming a teacher beside her mother, although she later discovered her knack for finding food and neat things. From there she took the duties of a gatherer, as her sister took to the skies. Kyasunie and Benedicte were linked at the hip as children, and still share a bond closer than most. They support each other through anything and everything, helping with hatchling care and other advice. The bonds to her mother are also strong, and she often spends most of her time either with her or with her mate Rhaegal, a newcomer to the clan. Though she was disappointed in her lack of lightning abilities, she was gifted creation from the clan's main tinkerer, Shila. They had gotten to know each other after meeting during one of the formers' visits to Coventina, and became a surprise friend pair. She wears it every day, filled with pride and joy. Her children are another of her great joys, and she is proud of the teenagers they've become. Nothing gets Benedicte more excited than her mate's many stories. With the years together, they've taken vacations out to explore the world, bringing back loads of gifts for everyone. Her own children are nearing adulthood, and she's not quite sure how to feel about it, outside of the pride she has for them. She has matured a little over the years, but still cracks up easily from Rheagal's jokes. | x |
