His pulse pounded as warm blood poured down his chin, splattering most of his usually white scales. Pain. He could feel pain. Pain racked his entire body, plague smothered his mind and scorch filled his lungs. It was good to feel the pain. Good to feel anything other than the endless boring emptiness he faced. He also felt hate, perhaps that may not be a strong enough word. Perhaps that is not the word at all......indifference, yes, that's right but this wasn't new. Mostly he felt hunger, a deep ravenous clawing in its stomach. This wasn't a hunger that could be satisfied by food or drink, what he really craved, what he really needed was blood. Endless waves of bloodlust pulsed from him and he never stops craving. Its become his only feeling, his only want. Its not enough to just kill some weaker mirriors or take down a tundra, no he needed something to bring him to the brink of death, because that is where he lived. And there were so many sweet smells coming from a little clan just to the east. Its the first clan to come in his vicinity in years
