“Grayson have you seen my battle axe?”

GraysonThane didn’t even bother to look up from the broken clock he was fixing “Is it a battle weapon?”

“Yes” Alexandru gave him a scathing look that Grayson was spared because he still didn’t look up from his task.

“Weapons vault”

“No I checked there.”

“Weapons vault”

“I told you I already checked there” Frustration leaked from Alexandru’s voice as he came completely into the room and placed his hands on the table where Grayson was working.

Grayson looked up slowly, a bland expression fixed on his face. “Weapons are kept in the weapons vault. Check again.”

“I know you simpleton! Checking again won’t change the fact that it’s not there” Alexandru roared.

Grayson merely lifted a brow.

“Fine” Alexandru huffed. “I will check again” he left just as quickly as he had appeared.

Shortly after Savannah came to Grayson’s pseudo workshop. “Hey Thane I returned Alexandru’s battle axe to the vault, you did tell him I borrowed it right?”

Grayson finally set down the broken cogs he had been working on and a slow smile stretched his lips “in a manner of speaking.”
