Synchronicity

Synchronicity is a member of the Shadow flight subspecies Shroomling and meets the very specific coloration and genetic criteria set forth by the Shadow flight.

Shroomlings are dragons who come from the depths of the Wispwillow Grove, and hide within the numerous Mushroom-filled woods, using their dark scales and glimmering gems as camouflage.

Synchronicity, also known as “Syn,” is the Whimsical Wave Clan’s Oracle to the Shadow Flight. She grew up native to the Shadow Flight region, but not long after she was officially recognized as an adult, Syn immediately decided she wanted a life outside the Tangled Wood. It wasn’t that she disliked her homeland or the reigning god, but she felt a pull to lands outside the gloomy lands.

Syn signed up with the various institutions that were dedicated to arranging new homes for dragons in other Flightlands and soon was offered the opportunity to become an Oracle for a Water Flight clan. Curious and delighted with the dragons she met, she agreed and left for her new home.

The dark, mysterious depths of the sea are not dissimilar to the gloom and enigmatic Wispwillow Grove where Syn had been born and Syn feels at home in the wet and murky cave system she now calls home. She has even managed to grow some of the glowing fungi that are the trademark of the Tangled Wood’s Wispwillow Grove and so her home inside the lair resembles a rockier, wetter version of the Grove. Her work as the Shadow Flight Oracle for the Whimsical Wave clan is very fulfilling and she has been very grateful to find what she loves so early in her life. The clan’s location means that she can make frequent trips to her homeland whenever she wishes and so while she does not keep up with her family, Syn still enjoys visiting the Tangled Wood with her Insubstantial Illusionist.
