Storm

"I'm not a girl. I'm a storm with skin."

Storm's birth was not a normal one. The night she and her siblings were supposed to hatch, a storm swept across Sornieth. Lightning flooded the darkened skies in electric blue. Thunder rumbled so loud, it shook all eleven regions. Just as she poked a claw through the translucent eggshell, a bright blast of lightning engulfed the nest. The bolts surged through the eggs, zapping the poor hatchlings inside. Her siblings died instantly but not her. She fought and fought and fought. The excruciating shock took mere seconds but it felt like forever. Once it was over, the nest was destroyed and at its center was an exhausted, and breathing, Skydancer with pale blue lightning burns spreading across her dark iridescent body. But no one celebrated her survival, not even her sires, and cast her out, deeming her a bad omen.

So she wandered, unnamed and unloved, before happening upon a band of roving bandits. They questioned her and she told them her tale. Interested and moved from her story, they scooped the young Skydancer up and took her to their wasteland castle. Her new clan aptly bestowed the name 'Storm', cheering and celebrating their new sister.

Since then, Storm has been sensitive to weather changes and uses them to her advantage in battle. She fashioned her armor to attract the surges in the air, charging the steely pieces to deliver shocking blows to her opponents. Of course, that is not all her armor attracted. A stubborn Storm Seeker made its home with her and became her confidant.

Storm is a fierce protector of her clan and will stop at nothing to defend them. Gifted with boundless energy, she is not one to sit still. Unfortunately, her encounter with lightning left her unable to fly. It hasn't stopped her from getting around by zipping across the lands like a storm wrapped in dragon skin.
