Don't make my mistakes.

During her Search Ysera met many others, but none gave her the sense of connection and familiarity that Bukere offered. Unfortunately Ysera's passionate and impulsive nature led to her ignoring Bukere's warnings in battle, and when Bukere pulled her out of the smoldering ruins of the battlefield, Ysera was on the verge of death. It took a hefty price, long days, and the efforts of the Cornifer Clans' Fire Flight allies to give Ysera the chance to recover...albeit changed.

Now Ysera works to impart the importance of foregoing her own youthful arrogance and trusting in their new family to all new Cornifer Clan recruits. Having proven herself, Ysera has become the lead trainer of incoming hatchlings and young adults. Though she retains her sharp tongue, fiery temper, and fierce self-determination, she now defers to Bukere in all matters. Somewhere along the way she realized Bukere is her Charge. And though she will never admit it, she often wishes Bukere were something more to her.

Ysera can frequently be seen with her Nature Sprite familiar perched on her antlers; anywhere else on her body is far too hot for it to be comfortable. She can frequently be spotted speaking quietly to it or feeding it a morsel after she's gone hunting.
