Okaaz is generally regarded as the wisest of the Godlings. Whether or not this is true, he is the drake the others seek out when they need guidance. He gives advice freely, though it is rarely straightforward. Dragons who come to Okaaz often leave with more questions than they originally had. Every so often, Okaaz can be seen talking with Honora, but otherwise he only socializes with the other Godlings. Most of all, he keeps to himself. He spends hours gazing into the scrying pools just outside of Godling Hollow, but rarely shares what he sees there. On the rare occasion that Okaaz seeks out the company of others, he turns to Iiz or Feykro. The former likes to accompany him on walks along the beach and collect seashells and pebbles while Okaaz strolls through the waves, both of them completely silent. The latter enjoys the water dragon's company while she tends her garden. Sometimes they talk, but mostly she sings and gardens, and Okaaz quietly listens as he helps with the heavier digging work. He's one of the few dragons Feykro feels comfortable singing in front of. A more unlikely friendship has developed between Okaaz and the Wind Godling, Ven. Ven is everything Okaaz is not: loud, energetic, outgoing, and spontaneous. The two drakes don't often spend time together, though Okaaz has been known to sleep at the base of Ven's tree sometimes. When they do hang out, it usually involves Okaaz trying something he otherwise wouldn't, but that Ven has convinced him will be fun. Whether he had fun or not cannot be easily determined from Okaaz' facial expression, but he continues to go along with Ven's adventurous ideas, so he appears to get some enjoyment out of it. His absolute favorite thing to do with Ven is fly high, high into the sky and glide over the clouds while the spiral darts and twirls about him.
