Vaukria

Vaukria is one an avid peace keeper in the clan. Whenever an argument ensues she feels obliged to step in and calm everyone down. Many see her anti-confrontational nature as cowardice, and most deny her the opportunity to join in hunting parties or patrols. However, those like Leikan can see that while she is hesitant, she will muster up the courage to aid those in need; plus, her nature is not all her fault. When she arrived at the Clan of the Deep Echoes' doorstep, it was clear she had had a hard life; the only dragon she would tell about her past was Nakeia, and the Fae swore to keep it secret from the others.

Her job in the clan is mostly to provide food and resources. She has been close friends with Nakeia and Hahnverk, always joining them on hunts and projects around the lair; she avoids the likes of Tsarkov and Atreus, however, the former because he sees her as an easy target, and the latter because he shows open disdain for her timidity. She has recently grown close to Redwood, finding his voice and steady nature soothing; she can decipher his moods and actions more readily than others, and feels a sense of kinship with him. In fact, she has trusted him enough to treat him like a vault, telling him about her past and some of her darkest fears. In turn, she listens to the few words he says, and offers her ear and consul whenever his depression becomes too deep.

Vaukria is very perceptive of body language, which is why on very rare occasions she will attend diplomatic matters with the Maren. She can tell when issues might boil over or when to take advantage of a positive moment with the beastmen; while she doesn't come on these negotiations often, when she does the meetings tend to be quite smooth. However, despite her participation in the talks with the merpeople, Vaukria doesn't trust them in the slightest; she only does so because she wishes to provide and help her clan. Aside from that, the beasts could be swept away by a particularly violent wave as far as Vaukria is concerned.
