Biography
SEITA Witch, shapeshifter, necromancer. Leader of the Feral Coven. Relative Age: Hard to tell (appears around 30-40 years old, acts a lot older). Gender: Female. Sexuality: Demiromantic asexual. Alignment: Neutral Evil. Character Class: Witch. Faction: Feral Coven. Important Relationships: Andromalius (son), Kurjenmiekka (daughter), Naberius (son), Fokalor (son), Itreksiod (fellow witch), Raedie (fellow witch), Manegarm (fellow witch). Familiar: Disoriented Spirit. Build: A weird mixture of oddly stunted wings, tail and legs, paired with young-looking beautiful face and overall look. She looks charming enough that her small size isn’t really apparent until you compare her to a more proportionate pearlcatcher. Her mane appears weirdly flowing and ethereal. She sports two extra horns on her head, pointing back and curved downwards. She’s got large areas of scar tissue around her body, but they’re mostly mixed with her crackle markings, and hard to spot. Her pearl is oddly clouded and foggy-looking. Role – Seita is the leader of Feral Coven – a potent spell spellcaster and witch, she communes with spirits and practises borderline necromancy, trapping said spirits to bones and other vessels to assist her with magic. Technically still a part of clan Mustamaa, she doesn’t interact much with dragons outside the Coven, save for occasionally talking with the other mages. Personality – Quiet, ominous, frigid. Seita is a quiet and asocial dragon who doesn’t talk a lot and especially despises smalltalk, only speaking when she has to, and never more than she needs to. She doesn’t like interacting with anyone she’s not somehow interested in, and she’s only really interested in her coven. Not really warm or loving by a long shot, she shows that she cares by undying loyalty and taking care of her trusted ones’ survival. She never breaks promises or contracts, and never tells anyone else’s secrets. As a mother her love for her children is questionable, but she goes to great lengths to take care of their education. Fully driven by her desire to study and perfect magic. Though she’s not really interested in hurting others, expect if they get in her way, she has absolutely no respect for the deceased, and sees nothing morally wrong in binding dead souls to any degree of life of undeath. Story – Seita comes from the Abiding Boneyard, though she’s not interested in discussing her younger days. What matters is that she eventually left because there was nothing more she wanted to learn from your everyday plague mages. She joined clan Mustamaa when they still lived in Dragonhome, and joined the clan because she was intrigued of all the odd magical abnormalities possessed by the clan’s dragons – though she mostly observed the dragons from afar, keeping to herself. Once the clan moved to Sunbeam Ruins, she started gathering like-minded individuals around her and one day even came to Marbas with a guardian son, asking for him to be properly educated. Seita is extremely interested in Hewn City and its ominous, murky secrets. Since the witches spend a lot of time on their own, rarely associating with the main clan, the other dragons have taken to calling them the Feral Coven, since all members of the coven can take animal forms. Seita doesn’t mind. The Coven is technically a part of Mustamaa, and officially agrees to its policies, but they’re otherwise independent. Seita seems to have plans to make her coven bigger, and, slightly disappointed in her son Andromalius’s magical talent, is interested in having more children with wild magic potential, though she hasn’t really discussed these plans with anyone. Seita is a lot more satisfied with her daughter Kurjenmiekka's magical aptitude, and currently sees her as her most succesfull child. She's still not quite sure how to rank her younger son Naberius's magic, and continues to train him with high expectations. Though Naberius's brother, Nereus, doesn't live in the Feral Coven, Seita is fairly proud of his potential as well, even if she believes he needs more tutoring. Magic – Seita is a powerful mage, and has vast general knowledge about magic. She’s worked on her own specializations extensively and attempts to perfect them. Seita’s magic talents include limited clairvoyance, shapeshifting (being able to shapeshift into a deer, crane, peryton and sturgeon), communicating with and manipulating spirits, and different tiers of necromancy, ranging from summoning spirits for a limited time to actually binding spirits to dead remains and objects. Familiar – Seita’s bonded familiar is a Disoriented Spirit, who has no name. Seita found the spirit around Hewn City’s darkest corners, and found the spirit vastly knowledgeable in magic. Seita bound the spirit to a body made of bones and rags. The spirit helps Seita with magic, as stated in their contract, but also loathes the dragon for binding them in this wretched body. They would gladly see Seita destroyed. Mate – None. Seita is not interested in a real relationship, but sometimes mates with dragons of exceptional magical aptitude, apparently in order to create magically gifted offspring. |
