Opinionated. Sober. Intellectual. This son of Tiberius and Kyanak is not someone to be trifled with. He is actually quite intelligent, although he doesn't often let it show, and isn't afraid to lash out with barbed insults if someone is getting a bit too rough. He finds he has to become wrathful more often at the tavern than anywhere else, and so he avoids the place as much as he can. He knows the effects of drink, and prefers his wits about him - no alcohol for him, ever. He'd rather not end up killing someone. Winchester has an opinion about everything, from what type of belt you're wearing to who you're mate is to what your children do. Funny, since he himself is a 'disappointment' - at least in his eyes. |
Born to a pair of fighters deep in the heart of the Tangled Wood, they were overjoyed when their nest hatched two perfect children. The two spent many days under the watchful eye of Saeuora, the Guardian who thought of the nursery as her charge, but in the end they were allowed to leave and join the rest of their clan.
Oh, how big it was, how bold! Winchester could scarce believe his eyes - how had they not heard the ruckus of all these dragons from the den? Every color, shape, and size lingered here, in the place his parents called home.
But there was no time for wonder. Tiberius, his father, and Kyanak, his mother, brought the two hatchlings straight to one they called "Islabelle", "Commander". His father bowed low, and his mother lowered her eyes, so Winchester did the same - this dragon was to be shown respect.
His sister, however, did not seem to get the message. As soon as she saw Isla, her stupid face scrunched up in surprise and she asked "Momma, who is this?"
His mother only laughed, but there was sadness in her eyes.
Still, Remington was allowed to stay in the clan - at least for a while. The two dragons grew into fine adults - Remington following in the ways of their family, learning to battle in the coliseum. (his parents were superbly happy with her, stupid girl) Winchester himself... well, he still hasn't chosen a profession. Mostly because he's afraid of disappointing his parents, who have always raised warriors - he prefers the feel of silks and satins as they run over his claws, turning a dragon this way and that, finding the perfect piece of apparel to fit them.
