In the roughly-hewn caves where the clan makes their home, it is not uncommon to find patches of shadow where the dragons of the clan have neglected to leave a light source, but never in the smallest cave on the right. This is Candlelight's cave, and from its smoky depths, a soft golden glow keeps the stormy gloom of the Shifting Expanse at bay. Within, the young chandler can always be found hard at work, dipping wicks made of tree pith into vats of tallow until its ready to join its fellows along the wall. He is an expert in his craft, and though his methods might be considered old-fashioned by some, his dedication is admirable by any standard. Candlelight is a creative and hardworking young dragon who has drawn from his humble beginnings in the Emberglow Hearth to become a successful vendor in his new home in the Lightning Farm. He has a natural sort of charm and poise about him that has the soothing effect of a warm embrace, a quality that has lent him quite a bit of help in his business. His watchful eyes never miss a friend who is down in the mouth, but he never pressures anyone into talking if they don't want to. Instead, he'll offer a cup of warm tea inside of his cave, and allow the gentle coaxing of a pleasant atmosphere do the convincing. |
