At least two colours must be in the dark ranges. The third can be any colour, other then the designated dark colours, black, obsidian, midnight and shadow. Both breeding partners must have the dark colour in the same place, ie. both in the primary, both in the secondary or both in the tertiary.
  • Dark XXY pairs must have at least a tertiary gene, to show off their contrasting colour.
  • Dark XYX, XYY pairs must have at least a tertiary gene, to show off their matching colours.
  • They can be any species and do not require a specific eye colour.
