Loughran is a soft-spoken boy that can often be found cuddling a windsinger plushy. Sometimes you can find him sniffling behind his older sister, Yahaira. If you ask him what's wrong, he'll mumble, "I miss my mom."

Loughran and Yahaira's parents decided to follow the Windsinger with their clutchmate, Maximilian. The two remaining siblings were left behind to be the clan's Wind Flight representatives. They were only babies when their parents departed, and Loughran was distraught, but his mother held him close to her during the last few days that they were still here.

She whispered to him as he hiccuped and struggled to hold back his tears,
"Don't cry... One day you and your sister will join us, and we will all be together again. But for now, I need you to be my strong little soldier. Guide this clan in the ways of the Wind, and when the Windsinger sees fit, he will reunite our family. I promise."

She left Loughran a bear cub to be his companion. The bear cub grew up to be a Cloudkeeper Herald, and is a great pillow and priceless friend to Loughran.
