Bedal grew up in the serenity of the Shrieking Wilds. The flourishing wilderness was, and always would be, his home. His love of earth and rubble came at a very young age. Members of his clan were quite befuddled by his choice of hobby, and usually disregarded it as just a phase. Time held different plans for him and with it, brought an unsurpassable talent. He began creating little stone statues of local wildlife, or intricate idols of Gladekeeper for dragons to display in their lairs. And then came Evalia. He was enamored by the historian the minute their paths crossed outside of some ancient ruins, where she had been sent to pick up some archaic literature. It was on that day that he followed her back to the clan of the Diamond Rooks, and left his parents and his old family behind without so much as a farewell. He fit in with the new clan effortlessly. He was playful and easy to communicate with, but he also knew how to read energy well and only used that to his advantage when socializing with others. He entertained hatchlings by devising games from the stone creatures he designed. Feredir commissioned him to produce beautiful Diamond Rook statues which he then placed periodically throughout the camp, and on sign posts near any entrances. The beautiful effigies shimmered brightly against the rays of the sun, and they were admired at great lengths by his peers. He was so proud of this accomplishment, that he tasked Takari in finding him a flock of rare, leucistic crows to celebrate his achievement. It was highly unlikely that he would go anywhere without his pack of fowl following close behind. |
↬ EXTRA INFO ↫
Juvenile xolo bond strangely with Bedal's roost of crows. He is constantly washing the feathers of a thin layer of slime left behind from the explorations of one of the little salamanders. He finds it mostly adorable, yet slightly frustrating. |
